I have been waiting a long time to write a post on Nike tennis attire, and here it is!  The French Open at Roland Garros provides an international platform to showcase all the latest in tennis fashion, and I must say that Nike leads the pack once again.

Nike has a plethora of tennis fashion at this year's French Open!

Here below is the Nike FRENCH CONNECTION ~

For the LADIES~

Maria just breaks Zheng today to win in 2 sets, 6-1, 7-5, wearing this total movement Nike dress from her Sharapova Collection~

Get a good look at this tennis dress~ lots of movement, flow, effortless lines. Lots of strength of character in this match, congratulations, Maria!

Serena Williams has been winning all her matches so far, but pulled out of the Doubles tennis with sister Venus, you both will be missed!  Also, Venus had a valiant first round match, we will look for you at Wimbledon.

AND, Victoria Azarenka, you deserve your own Collection, maybe if you win, Nike will grant this wish?

And for the MEN~

I love these shorts made for Roger Federer~

Roger wins everything, but then, so does Rafa!

I just love Rafa, he is such a champion, all these hopefuls, you have got to give them so much credit for dedication, discipline and love for the game of tennis.

I love these tennis shorts for men, they have great flow, good form and color, wicking too!

Early in the competing rounds my first observation while watching these fabulous players, is the ensemble that Maria Sharapova, the 2012 French Open Champion, wears in her round 2 match against French number 1 Marion Bartoli.

Again, Maria wears this ensemble in Round 4 match versus Sloane Stephens.  Maria wins in two sets, 6-4, 6-3.  Long match, lots of talent.

The air has been cool and intermittent rain dominate the first week of competition. On court it is so difficult to decide what to wear under these conditions.

To satisfy the need for muscle warmth and lightweight feel with absolute movement, is this versatile set that Maria wears~
