WHAT IS BEAUTY?

Yes indeed, what is beauty? Or, who is beauty? Beauty is subtle, it is quiet and strong. Beauty suggests, is soft spoken, it whispers sweet nothings. Beauty asks only for itself, and nothing more. It simply is. I think that is the greatest misconception of beauty. Society loves to dish out labels, to have security in what it thinks to be 'right.' But is beauty general consensus? Actually, perhaps. Because, deep into our character and being, each person knows what is right. And beauty is right. Beauty allows life to happen, to unfold in its natural course of events, positively. Sometimes the consensus strangely goes astray, and beauty standing there so sweetly becomes thwarted, changed. The winds alter course, eyes look elsewhere, and essentially, beauty does not care. She just is. She knows. She waits for approval, she waits for nothing, she simply waits. And the tide turns again, and all eyes are on beauty. Not only the physical, the pleasing to the eye, but greater still the moral compass reigns supreme. Goodness prevails, a deep sigh in the social psyche, an act of goodness so long awaited. We know what beauty is, who she is, where she is, we just have to keep our hearts open, for she is always with us. She dwells in our hearts, she is us, if we would only keep our eyes open.
